Band Of The Week – Dead Sara

I discovered Dead Sara through their cover of Nirvana’s ‘Heart Shaped Box.’ My instant response was to slate the band for the token Nirvana cover, but something about the emotion the vocals held intreaged me.

After listening to Dead Sara, their volatile political anthems and powerful rock sound proved to be something truly unique.

The world currently seems to be struggling to promote quality rock bands, but Dead Sara seem to manage the impossible by generating a large following over their years together.

I’d suggest that you check out Dead Sara’s records as well as their live performances as both hold immersive energy which truly romanticizes their raw, emotional nature.
